The purpose of my new blogpost is to gain an intuition for converting tabular-structured data into graph-structured data and store into Graph database for further analysis using Neo4j. Key Concepts Definitions A Graph Database uses graph structures with nodes, edges and properties to represent and store data. The graph relates data items to a collection of nodes and edges, where edges represent relationships between nodes. Graph database is designed to treat the relationships between data as important as the data itself.

The new year is upon us and it’s really exciting because at this time everyone goes through a little of reflection and write down their goals to achieve during or before the end of 2022. I recently started my Fall semester with Georgia Institute of Technology doing the course ISYE6748: Applied Analytics Practicum. The objective of this course is to give an opportunity to students to apply their data science knowledge to solve real business problems. You can find out more about the course via this link. The project that I chose to work on is to help a US-based startup with extraction and categorization of information from PDF documents.
